Sexism in the Workplace

There are women who have profited from it and then there are those who haven’t.  The ones who haven’t have been making noise the whole time.  “Dykes.”  “Spinsters.”  “Nazis.”

And the ones who have profited from it, the popular girls, the famous girls, the fun girls, the ones with Oscars and great titles by their names, who somehow could navigate the sleazy world of male power to their advantage (who has the power now?)  I’m not angry at them.

I would have, had I could have.  (I think?)

Misogyny is no picnic no matter how you are equipped (or not equipped) to deal with it.
